Post-Doctoral Associate

The Postdoctoral Research Scholar will oversee the establishment and management of a new morphometrics laboratory while advancing both collaborative and individual research projects related to quantitative and functional analyses, primate evolution, and craniodental variation.

The expected distribution of effort is:

-70% research
-15% laboratory management
-15% communications/coordination with collaborators and students.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Strong quantitative skills including advanced knowledge of multivariate statistics, traditional and geometric morphometrics, and functional analysis of bones and teeth.
-Ability to code in R and expertise working with CT-scan data are essential.
-Detailed knowledge of catarrhine anatomy and evolution and a more general familiarity with vertebrate comparative anatomy are also important.
-As the major point of contact for a variety of researchers and students with the morphometrics lab, the postdoctoral scholar must have outstanding organizational and communication skills.
