SUMMARY

The Andersen Windows 100 series team is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing engineering, and a passion for change management and strategic thinking. As part of our dynamic team, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement innovative solutions, and help shape our strategic direction to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency. Our 220,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled facility is located in Garland, Texas. We strive to prioritize work-life balance and fostering a positive day-to-day work experience. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead change management initiatives to drive organizational transformation and foster a culture of continuous improvement, particularly within the growing 100 Series line.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current practices, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions for optimization, integrating automation and machinery where applicable.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive process improvements, leveraging your expertise in manufacturing analytics.
  • Lead and support projects to implement new technologies, equipment, and methodologies, with a keen eye for automation solutions.
  • Mentor and coach team members to build capabilities and drive a culture of lean innovation and excellence, fostering Andersen's positive work environment and team dynamic.
  • Assess current & future capacity requirements by utilizing marketing forecasts, value stream mapping, and capacity planning methodologies
  • Partner with peers across two additional sites producing 100 Series products to share best practices and contribute to a teamwork-driven conglomerate mindset.
  • Sustain long-term solutions through data analytics, establishing audit procedures, and cross-functional collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering Technology
  • 3-10 years of industrial engineering experience preferred
  • Six Sigma Certification preferred
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Project management experience with the ability to lead and execute multiple initiatives concurrently, integrating automation and machinery where applicable.
  • Experience with change management strategies

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
