Responsibilities
General Statement: Seal, fillet and fay, cap seal, brush coat, etc. for major assemblies, sub-assemblies, precision bench and integral fuel cell. Apply scotch cast, leveling compound, aerodynamic seal and pressure test, working from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements and established processes and procedures. The Company will provide appropriate assistance in job training to enable employees to perform all necessary job functions including the following:
- Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, work orders, etc. sealing to quality
requirements. - Complete required data gathering transactions to facilitate all sealer progression.
- Perform any and all required pickup, rework, fabrication, change incorporation, functional
testing or check during or after final seal and/or seal progression. - Use measuring instruments as required to accomplish work assignments.
- Report and/or investigate job handicaps such as: errors, assembly procedures, tools,
sequences, etc. - Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training,
coaching and assisting employees of all classification levels. - Document any discrepancies according to specification, process, and procedure.
- Temporarily attach parts and or assemblies, install collars and other hardware not related to
drilling or countersinking.
Level B
- Integral Fuel Cell Sealing - Apply sealing compounds to seal fuel cell and related wing
section components. - . Additionally, the employee must have the skill and knowledge to perform one or more of the
skills listed below, along with any lower level sealant level described below: * Sealer - Major Assembly / Large structure sealing / Aerodynamic seal.
Qualifications
- All applicants must be willing and able to work any shift, including alternative work weeks. Majority of new hires will be hired on 2nd shift.
- All Candidates must pass the WorkKeys Assessment (workkeys.com) or provide verification that they have passed the WorkKeys Assessment. Delay in completing your WorkKeys Assessment will result in a delay in your start date. You may complete your assessment in advance of an interview.
