Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Manage new admissions, conduct medical clearances, and evaluate medical stability. Address any urgent medical concerns with nursing staff.
  • Assess and treat clients with medical conditions requiring care and intervention.
  • Complete documentation promptly, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, group notes, and discharge summaries, in accordance with established standards.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the treatment team.
  • Attend and engage in mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Participate in on-call duty responsibilities as needed.
  • Facilitate and support the infection prevention and control program throughout the facility.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures related to infection control in client care.
  • Maintain strong communication with other clinical team members, outpatient providers, and family members.
  • If required by state law, provide services within a supervisory or collaborative framework, ensuring compliance with Physician Supervision Agreements or Physician Collaboration Agreements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in nursing from an accredited institution required.
  • Licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
  • Current DEA license.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with adolescents and young adults required.
  • Experience working with clients in a residential or psychiatric treatment setting strongly preferred.

Pay range for this position is $110,000 to $131,000 (32 hour work week) depending on education and experience.
