Consultant Lactation

Position Summary

Provides and plans safe efficient age specific nursing care for patients/families related to lactation services.

Essential Functions

• Patient care/assessment;
• Lactation program operations;
• Communication and collaboration;
• Leadership;
• Involved in learning and self-improvement; (5%)
• Age specific knowledge. (5%)

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
