Responsibilities The Histotechnologist provides accurate and timely diagnostic information to healthcare professionals in order to ensure high quality patient care and customer service. Qualifications EDUCATION: HTL (ASCP) certification or must be eligible to take the appropriate registry examination within one year of employment. EXPERIENCE: Equipment to be used in this position includes analytical laboratory equipment, laboratory processing equipment, and hospital and laboratory information systems. Experience with this equipment is not necessary but preferred.
