Job Description Nidec Motor Corporation is seeking an entry level Project Manager to lead project activities for multiple motor development projects. Job Description The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the preparation, coordination, reporting and completion of motor development projects with internal and external customers. The PM applies current project management techniques, practices, and tools to lead team efforts during all process groups (Initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing) of company projects. The PM works directly with stakeholders to define project needs and lead a team to complete designated projects, successfully meeting all scope, resource, and schedule expectations. The PM guides team members through a New Product Development (NPD) process to meet all requirements, provide required documentation, and generate regular status updates throughout the project lifecycles. The PM manages project communications activities including team meetings, mandatory reviews and project reports. Project reporting includes creating detailed schedules with key milestones, performing risk identification and analysis, making earned value progress assessments, providing test results and compiling lessons learned logs.
