Pharmacist Full Time Days

Job Description:

• The pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated distribution and clinical pharmacy services.

• In addition, the pharmacist serves as a medication information resource for all customers including patients, medical staff, and hospital staff.

Requirements:

• Current pharmacist license in good standing as issued by the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required

• PGY1 residency preferred

• Board Certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties preferred

• Experience in acute care pharmacy preferred such as unit dose distribution and IV admixture/compounded sterile products

• Excellent organizational skills as well as good oral and written communication skills required
