Job Summary The Executive Director establish and maintain positive relationships and interacts professionally with patents, visitors, and other employees, consistent with maintaining and furthering a positive public perception of Grady Health System. Contributes to and participate in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of assigned departments and adherence to Policies and Procedures. Develops comprehensive and realistic short & long plans. When planning considers industry trends (MGMA, ACHE), budgets and timetables. Integrates planning efforts across work / program units. Job Responsibilities Monitors site specific referral and direct admission to promote operational efficiency and quality of care. Liaison with PFS to identify site specific opportunities to reduce denial rates. Goal is to have an area denial rate of no more than 5% and monitors and analyzes patient utilization. Ensures site specific open encounter visit report is reconciled with providers and closed in a timely manner. Goal is to have providers in EPIC close visits on the same day of service. Develops and executes initiatives towards a financial break-even point and expands access to care and improve revenue by proficient command in template management. Participate in establishing and monitoring site specific budget Rev, performance standards (PS) and on target performance standards (OTPS). Collaboration & Relationship Building - Maintains a formal and informal network of relationships. Communication - Speaks and writes clearly and in a well-organized manner. Encourages open communication from staff and actively listens. Communicates important organizational information to staff. Delegation and Empowerment - Provides clear direction. Works effectively in uncertain or unfamiliar situations General Office Management Duties - Payroll, purchasing, staff evaluation and performance initiatives. Participates in site specific long and short term planning in collaboration with Medical and Administrative Leadership and facilitates Revenue Cycle Objectives. Education Required: Master's Degree. Preferred: Master's Degree Healthcare Administration or in Business Administration. Experience Required: Eight or more year's job related experience in a hospital setting. Skills/Certs/License Required: ARRT Registered Technologist. Full Certification in a medical imaging specialty.
