Apply Job ID: 007346 Description: Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom High School (1021 Jennings St) $22- $25 /hour Position Summary Under the supervision of the Community School Director at Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom H.S, Academic Tutors/Success Mentors work with chronically absent youth to address attendance barriers and help them achieve educational outcomes. They identify causes of poor attendance, such as family struggles or health issues, and collaborate with CAS staff and DOE to find solutions. Success Mentors provide academic tutoring, lead activities, and organize events. Reporting to the Program Director, the Success Mentor supports students needing additional academic help, focusing on science, literacy, math, writing, and attendance. This part-time position involves working 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day, when DOE schools are in session. Essential Duties:
