Senior Technical Learning Experience Desinger Location: Remote, USA Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $90,0000 - $120,000 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience. Benefits Offered: Vision, Medical, Life, Dental, 401K Summary The Senior Technical Learning Experience Designer role is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of learning solutions for a diverse technical community of OneStream Software Developers, Implementers, Administrators and Business Users. This role has sole responsibility for a project and acts as a mentor to other Technical Learning Experience Designers (Technical LxDs) to create content for ongoing course development projects based on team standards and processes. This person will use their prior knowledge, skills, and abilities to improve their expertise on the OneStream platform and create content on all the required media (Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Skillable, Articulate Storyline, PPT, Word). Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads the design and development of complex learning solutions for multiple modalities.
- Has sole ownership of a project from the LxD team's side.
- Manages team meetings, Technical Course Advisory Board communications, and collaboration with other cross-functional teams.
- Creates learning objectives, content, assessments, and interactive activities, including videos, simulations, hands-on exercises, and gamified elements.
- Designs and builds content that delivers an exceptional learning experience based on the needs and preferences of a technical audience.
- Follows team standards and processes with great attention to detail.
- Shows excellent time management skills to complete all tasks at or before agreed-upon due dates.
- Evaluates learning programs and recommends improvements.
- Proactively evaluates GES standards, processes, and templates, and recommends improvements.
- Can describe the roles, responsibilities, and needs of the OneStream training audience
- For example: Administrators, Power Users, implementation consultants, and so on.
- Innovates by incorporating emerging technologies and use-case/scenario-based approaches.
- Shows progress in their understanding of the OneStream platform with an aim to creating technical course design documents or lab instructions.
Required Education and Experience
- Education: University degree (BSc or BA level) on Adult Learning, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or Engineering (or a relevant field).
- Number of years as a Technical Professional or a Technical LxD/ID in an Enterprise software company: 6-9.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Strong proficiency with industry standard design software (Articulate 360 suite, Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, and Adobe Captivate).
- Experience crafting engaging, effective, modern learning content that supports and improves customer adoption of products.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Education: Post-grad degree (MSc or MA/MBA level) on Adult Learning, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or Engineering (or a relevant field).
- Foundational knowledge on Finance and Accounting.
- Experience working with the OneStream platform or a similar CPM solution in a technical capacity.
- Experience with complex, highly technical Enterprise software solutions.
- Experience in developing self-paced eLearning curriculums, storyboards, online tutorials, assessments, and so on.
- Preferred Project Manager or Learning Management System Manager experience.
- Knowledge of SQL Server or similar database management technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or similar cloud-based technologies.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position mentors more junior Learning Experience Designers.
Trvael
- Travel Requirement: Occasional travel may be required to attend summits, conferences, project meetings, or trainings. Travel is approximately 15%.
