The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support the Skull Base Surgery Specialty services located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Froedtert Hospital, and the Neurosciences Clinic. Additional coverage will take place at McKinley Health Center. MCW Department of Neurosurgery will advance the field of neurological surgery through world-class care, groundbreaking research, and innovative education. Our neurosurgeons staff the only Level 1 Trauma Centers in southeastern Wisconsin. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. The Ideal Candidate will be a new or experience clinician/APP wanting to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to providing direct patient care to patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. In this role you will:

There are also opportunities for weekend call for extra pay, which is on a voluntary basis and never required
Preferred Experience: 2+ years of APP experience or relevant neurosurgical experience Minimum Education: Advanced Practice Nurse: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing Minimum Requirements: *or eligible Advanced Practice Nurse Physician Assistant Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner Wisconsin Physician Assistant License Wisconsin RN License Certification by NCCPA Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber License AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA Adult or Acute Care preferred, FNP considered AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, DEA
