Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seek a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include providing clinical anesthesia care to pediatric patients at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, as well as Radiology and Hematology-Oncology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital & the Proton Center. The individual will participate in education programs of the Department and Medical School, which may include teaching and education of students and house staff, as well as actively contribute to the research programs of the department. Qualified candidates will hold an M.D. or D.O., be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology, and eligible for licensure in Illinois. The expected base pay range for this position is $465,000-$587,000 Individual salary will be determined by years in rank, experience, demand within the specialty, additional training, extramural funding, and strength of publication history. Other compensation opportunities vary but may include mission-based, clinical, research, and academic incentives or additional compensation for leadership roles in line with the respective compensation plan.
