About the Team: Within NOA's IT Department, the Consumer Online Publishing & Architecture (COPA) group supports its external and external constituents and plans for IT technologies at NOA through development, optimization, and dedicated QA as well as support for such applications as Nintendo Developer Portal, Nintendo Publishing Tool, Grand Prix mobile applications, and more.


DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Assesses available technologies to meet needs, and then define technical specifications and designs.
  • Collaborates with team members to define the functional and technical needs of an organization and recommend solutions.
  • Communicates the status of the work, progress and obstacles to the team.
  • Creates detailed test scenarios, performs testing and analyzes results.
  • Documents all tech changes through process flows, project documentation and other appropriate change control standards.
  • Ensures work is completed in such a way to comply with established security regulations and other internal controls.
  • Stays current on engineering approaches, technologies and techniques.
  • Support product customers in supporting development needs in specific focus areas.
  • Works with other engineers to develop and modify technology systems, addressing functional, performance, security, quality, operations and monitoring needs.
  • With some support, implement systems ensuring high quality, security, and performance.
  • Maintains existing systems by adding/updating features, addressing live-site issues, improving reliability, etc.
  • Troubleshoots systems, investigating and addressing root causes.
  • Provide on-call support as needed.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum three to five (3 - 5) years of related experience required.
  • Experience working on problems from low to moderate scope, requiring analysis of data and a variety of factors.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud technologies is a plus.
  • Typically works as part of team.
  • Requires basic knowledge of theories, principles and concepts within a technical job family; has exposure to current technologies through coursework or internship.
  • Requires basic knowledge of engineering/technology theories, practices and procedures.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Tech stack includes - Java, Python, NextJS, ReactJS, AWS (CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch), etc.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $102,500 - $164,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
