JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Athletic Trainer provides athletic training services to physically active individuals within the University in accordance with Pennsylvania Practice Act, established by the state board of medicine within the department of the state with the goal of optimizing performance athletic ability. Provide emergency care, develop injury prevention programs for student athletes, assess, treat, and rehabilitate the physically active person whose conditions are within the professional preparation and education of a certified athletic trainer, with the direction of a licensed physician.
Requirements: Master's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience. Successful completion of a Clearance Package (PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Fingerprints through DHS) This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
