Description

GAI Consultants is seeking an individual to join its CEI Central Florida team a CEI-CSS (Construction Engineering and Inspection - Contract Support Specialist) to be connected to our Orlando, FL office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and administering contracts, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and supporting various contract-related activities.

Job Duties:



  • Contract Administration: Prepare, review, and manage contracts, including drafting and negotiating terms.
  • Documentation: Maintain document control, including collection, authorization, publication, storage, retrieval, and retention of documents.
  • Cost Estimates: Prepare monthly and final cost estimates and compose contract change orders.
  • Compliance: Ensure all contract activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Support Tasks: Provide administrative support for contract-related activities such as invoice processing, payment tracking, and budget reconciliation.


Qualifications:



  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business, finance, or law is often required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in contract management or a related field is typically necessary.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are essential. Familiarity with procurement regulations and processes is also important.
  • FDOT CTQP Final Estimates Level II, preferred.

Experience
4 years: Prepare, review, and manage contracts, including drafting and negotiating terms. (preferred)
