Admissions Supervisor

Location: Westborough, MA - Inpatient Acute Treatment Services (ATS) Program

Schedule: 3:00pm-11:30pm, Tuesday-Saturday

Pay rate: $23.00-$26.00/hour

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, experience can be substituted.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or customer service field preferred.
• Three years of experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal, social and writing skills.
• Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.

The Admissions Supervisor is responsible for:

• The functioning of the Admissions department and the supervision of Admissions Coordinators.
• Working collaboratively with the admission staff and the Nursing team to ensure maintenance of the census for the facility.
• The scheduling of and processing of clients for admission to the facility.
• Conducting intakes in a respectful and courteous manner following established protocols for booking and scheduling clients.
• Ensuring that safety of all programs and their clients and staff is maintained by staff completing thorough and respectful physical screenings of clients upon admission as well as complete belongings searches in compliance with established Spectrum Health Systems policy.
• Collaborating with the Nursing staff to ensure admissions are completed in a timely manner.
