POSITION TYPE: Seasonal Full Time and Part Time WAGE RANGE: $15+ tips AGE RANGE: 25 years or older due to vehicle insurance SUPERVISORY: No SUPERVISED BY: Outback Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for running the FOH operation. Directly responsible for opening/closing the restaurant and assuring all staff arrives for shifts on time, in uniform. Assisting Outback Manager in coaching, correcting of all FOH staff, ordering of all FOH products, maintaining appropriate pars of that product, and monthly inventory of all FOH products. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assures guest satisfaction and supervises fellow staff, paying close attention to detail. Monitor staff to see all additional duties are attended to, including accurate end of shift reports and bank drops. Responsible for product ordering and presentation. Work in close liaison with outback manager. Duties include food handling, storage, rotation, processing. Must have fundamental knowledge health code. Must be willing to work as a team. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS:Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and customer service skills. Must ski or snowboard. EDUCATION: English reading, writing and communication, basic math EXPERIENCE: Restaurant F&B experience. LICENSE NEEDED: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Combined standing/walking position for up to 8 hours per shift. Will stand in place for up to 30 minutes. Will get breaks as available. Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally. Will bend, squat, kneel climb, twist, and reach above shoulder level on a frequent basis; will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. Worksite is 100% inside and be exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards. All sensory skills needed. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Must become knowledgeable of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities, services and activities. Responsibilities are listed as guidelines and the position is not necessarily limited to these items . MACHINES/TOOLS OPERATED: Restaurant POS System, Ordering system, etc. REVIEW SCHEDULE: This position and the person filling it will be reviewed once a season.
