Guest service, bussing tables, keeping front area clean and stocked. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Combined standing/walking for up to 8 hours per shift. Will stand in place for up to 2-3 hours at a time. Will lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Will bend, squat, kneel, climb, twist and reach above shoulder level occasionally. Will use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. The worksite is 99% inside and 1% outside. Exposed to outdoor skiing/snowboarding conditions to and from jobsite. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Mountain side location, does have high volume of business. Must be able to multitask. Some exposure to heat and cold / weather elements. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be willing to obtain extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities, services, and activities. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in giving directions and answering questions. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS:Requires working with other people and other Schweitzer departments. Requires the ability to interact with guests. Must be able to meet and greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner. EDUCATION: English reading, writing and communication, basic math. EXPERIENCE: Cash register experience helpful. LICENSE NEEDED: None MACHINES OR TOOLS OPERATED: Cash register JUDGMENT/MENTAL COMPLEXITY: Job activities consist of tasks that are often repetitive. Necessary actions are routine. Tasks are quickly mastered through the application of basic skills. REVIEW SCHEDULE: This position and person filling it will be evaluated once per season.
