Monitor Techs are responsible for the following:

  • Continuously and attentively monitors patientsrsquo; cardiac rhythms and pulse oximetry, accurately

interpreting and communicating baseline variations to Registered Nurse.

  • Collects data and documents interpreted rhythms and significant events during shift. Completes

required reporting.

  • Maintains equipment and assists with application, return, and troubleshooting, escalating according

to established procedures if necessary.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous telemetry and/or patient care experience preferred
  • Provider Basic Life Support, successful completion of a telemetry monitoring course and exam preferred, telemetry certification preferred.

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
