Financial Account Administrator Job Summary Financial Account Administrator
The University of Pittsburgh's Center for Social & Urban Research in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks a Financial Account Administrator. This is an office-based, nonremote position that will provide financial research support infrastructure and training for original research in a few focused areas: including urban impact analysis, survey methodology, psychosocial aspects of aging and enhanced access to local and national policy-relevant data. Will also be responsible for post-award grants and contracts and center special project account administration along with familiarity of federal, state, and local guidelines governing the preceding, serve as a primary contact for financial audit inquiries and post-award activities; and oversee posting and reconciling monthly account expenditures as well as tracking and analyzing monthly revenue and expenditures on grants and special projects. This is a complex position that requires a high level of attention to detail, focus and adaptation to new and ever-changing policies, procedures and guidelines. This is an office-based nonremote position. The employee must be able to work in the Pittsburgh office 5 days per week. Must have a master's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Business, Finance, or a related field plus one (1) year of experience in a related position. Experience must include one (1) year with: (i) automated accounting systems; (ii) advanced accounting principles; (iii) financial account management; (iv) audit management; (v) business operations; and (vi) project management.
