The Business department at Perimeter College emphasizes preparation for decision-making in a business environment. Perimeter College invites applications for a tenure-track instructor, assistant or associate professor position in economics. This is a teaching-focused position: 80% of the workload is instruction, with service and scholarly and creative activity accounting for 10% each. Perimeter faculty are responsible for providing 27-32 credit hours of instruction per academic year and engaging in service to the department, college, and university. Perimeter College faculty maintain a campus presence, and the successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to early undergraduate teaching and learning, and the ability to thrive in a highly diverse academic setting. Perimeter College is a multi-campus institution, and the teaching assignment may be on any of the college's campuses.

Instructor:
A minimum of a Master's degree required in the teaching discipline or a minimum of a Master's degree with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in relevant coursework (completed by the anticipated date of appointment) is required.
Salary Range: $44,581 - $49,581

Assistant Professor:
A Ph.D. in the teaching field is required by the time of the appointment.
Salary Range: $51,231 - $56,231

Associate Professor: A Ph.D. in the teaching discipline is required, and must have previously held the associate professor rank at a comparable institution for a minimum of one academic year. Salary Range: Commensurate with experience.
