Hepburn and Sons LLC is looking for a Financial Analyst to assist in executing the responsibility to satisfy current and future Navy needs for the DDG 51 Class.

Responsibilities

    Provide financial and management support for DDG 51 budget development, documentation, revision, update, and associated reporting in compliance with Navy, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and President's Budget (PB) submission timelines.
  • Track and assess programmatic changes, cost changes, quantity changes, and budgetary implications for each submission cycle.
  • Maintain expertise in budget related Information Technology (IT) systems and databases to include, but not limited to, the Programming and Budgeting Information System (PBIS) Database, PBIS Web, PDOCS, RDOCS, COBRA,and the Budget Planning System (BPS).
  • Provide budgetary control monitoring, issue paper generation, and issue detail queries as needed using the PBIS Database.
  • Participate in reviews and maintain knowledge of technical and programmatic elements that impact program budget exhibits.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or preferred experience
  • 5 years DoD/Navy financial management
  • DoD Secret level clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with GFE budgetary management; 7300 Process, development, and analysis
  • DAWIA Level II BFM Certification Industry equivalent
  • Over 5 years DoD/Navy financial management
