Overview:

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Division of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary health team, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients in an outpatient practice. In this role, you will manage patients in a GYN and OB clinic, ensuring high-quality care and support.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Provide prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care to patients in an outpatient setting.
  • Perform physical examinations, including GYN exams, and conduct diagnostic studies (e.g., labs, ultrasounds).
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, providing education and counseling to patients.
  • Document patient encounters accurately, including history, assessments, and follow-up plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and refer complex cases as needed.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and contribute to departmental initiatives.



Qualifications:




  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program with a focus on midwifery.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Midwife and Maryland CNM license.
  • 2+ years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities.

Salary Range: Minimum 53.15 per hour - Maximum 82.38 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
