KPMG is
currently seeking a Director, Ignition Market Leader to join our Growth and
Strategy organization.

Responsibilities:



  • Manage and work as part of a
    multidisciplinary team to develop design thinking based solutions that
    help internal and external stakeholders solve complex business issues via
    collaborative workshop experiences - including project management,
    stakeholder management, and financial management.
  • Collaborate with senior
    executives of clients and KPMG leadership to plan sessions, including
    scoping session objectives, designing an effective approach, leading a
    delivery team, managing internal and external stakeholders, coordinating
    operations and logistics as well as preparing materials and inputs; Lead
    client sessions, including facilitating activities and interactive
    exercises, capturing and synthesizing session outputs and contributing to
    a high-quality and seamless client experience.
  • Create high-quality
    deliverables and assist in creating follow-up communications, taking
    follow-up actions to advance commercial opportunities, and create case
    studies and insights from sessions; Execute sessions leveraging
    facilitation techniques and design thinking-based methods to help clients
    solve complex business challenges.
  • Maintain and advance an
    understanding of technology trends and business applications, including
    the impact of AI and emerging technology on business and operating models
    across the front, middle, and back office. Apply this knowledge to develop
    collaborative session experiences helping clients solve complex challenges
    related to AI and emerging technology strategy, use case development, and
    adoption; Drive the enhancement of Ignition session delivery by
    identifying and supporting ways to integrate AI into the delivery
    lifecycle and supporting the development of AI and emerging technology
    session types.
  • Drives client engagement,
    revenue and brand awareness by aligning Ignition capabilities to strategy
    of the market, building a pipeline of opportunities in the Ignition Center
    and delivering with the Ignition and local markets teams to support the
    execution of Ignition activities.
  • Leads all resources necessary
    to drive client relationships and revenue to and through the Washington
    D.C. Ignition Center. Serve as an ambassador for Ignition in the market
    internally (hosting immersion sessions, speaking to strategic audiences,
    etc.) and externally (clients, speaking opportunities) to represent KPMG's
    innovation journey and Ignition's role in it; Develops and oversees plans
    for execution of strategic objectives in the market with input from the
    Market Leader / Office Managing Partner and other local partners. Serves
    as a key advisor to clients and local partners and proactively initiates
    ideas to solve complex business problems.



Qualifications:



  • Minimum eight years of recent
    experience in a professional services environment, background in client
    service delivery with subject matter expert in one or more of the
    following areas preferred such as, Generative AI, AI and digital
    transformation, data and analytics, emerging technologies, cloud, data
    management, modernization and more
  • Bachelor's degree from
    accredited college or university is required
  • Excellent storyteller with the
    ability to prepare compelling presentations and client experiences;
    understand design thinking principles and effectively lead interactive and
    collaborative sessions tied to achieving business results; background
    with a leadership role leading and motivating a team and working with
    agility within a matrixed partnership environment motivating individuals
    outside of direct reporting lines
  • Experience working within a
    matrixed partnership environment motivating individuals outside of direct
    reporting lines and be agile, adaptable and dynamic in a
    fast-paced environment; ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity
  • Active self-starter with strong
    work ethic; dependable and productive member of a team; acts with
    integrity and leads by example at all times in the execution of
    all tasks; client centric/service mindset in the execution of all
    projects, deliverables, interactions, and more; travel may range from
    50% - 80% at times
  • Must be authorized to work in
