Apply Job ID: 007282 Description: Executive Headquarters (117 West 124th St) $110,000 - $115,000/ year Position Summary: The Assistant Director, Public Policy will play a vital role in the daily management and strategic operations of the Office of Public Policy. The Assistant Director will report to the Director, Public Policy and will assist in spear heading the organization's government relations, community engagement and advocacy strategy. They will also oversee administrative operations of the office as well as serve as the principal liaison for Children's Aid's senior leadership on external relations issues. This role calls for a talented and versatile professional with strong project management skills and leadership skills, who is able to successfully drive initiatives forward and work internally and externally with others in a collaborative, supportive, yet direct manner. This individual will also be able to capture the essence of Children's Aid programs and values and play an integral role in developing the agency's public policy agenda and advocacy strategy at the local, state and national levels.
