Financial Analyst- Full Time (Remote)

Overview
The Financial Analyst provides essential financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple campuses. This role demands strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, and experience in financial modeling and reporting. The analyst partners closely with cross-functional teams to leverage data and support informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
Participate in the development of monthly budget and reforecast for campuses
- Create and distribute regular reports
- Analyze budget data
- Identify trends and insights
- Design and perform analysis for established company key performance indicators (KPI)
- Compile month-end reporting and quarterly materials for the Board of Directors (BOD) and internal reporting
- Conduct return on investment (ROI) analyses for company initiatives
- Assess alignment with specific targets, provide updates, and variance analysis
- Produce and distribute reports to support decisions
- Provide recommendations based on projected return on investment (ROI) deliverables against goals
- Create succinct presentations that balance high-level insights and details needed for mixed audiences (e.g. senior leadership and operational teams)
- Collaborate with business partners, technology, and modeling teams to evaluate new data sources, alternate data sources, and analytical tools
- Partner with stakeholders to create business plans and implement new program designs
- Identify expense opportunity areas and recommend changes or improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required and five (5) years of experience in finance and/or accounting (required)

- Three (3) years' experience in finance and/or accounting environment with progressive responsibility in profit and loss (P&L) reporting (preferred)

- Broad knowledge of P&L, building Ad-hoc reports and models (preferred)
|
- Knowledge base and experience should include analysis in staff levels and labor metrics (preferred)

- Experience performing data analysis and data visualization (required)

Skills
- Exceptional financial acumen and expertise in business analytics, including P&L management
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel proficiency
- Make recommendations for solutions based on information gathered and analyzed from existing systems and/or imperfect information
- Identify issues and propose actionable solutions based on financial analysis
Abilities
- Ability to prepare and present clear and concise financial reports for various stakeholders
- Ability to plan, track and evaluate KPIs

Work Environment
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment when on site at assigned company location. Employees must be able to safely ambulate when on company premises.
- This position is designated as remote. Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation.

- Overnight travel required up to 5%
